This May, two researchers from IUR are presenting their work for audiences abroad. Guy Baeten was invited by the Vienna Chamber of Labor to their conference “Housing Markets in Europe Under Pressure” to present a case study on Swedish cities entitled “Affordable housing as a problem: displacement by stealth in Sweden.” The conference attendees also learned about cases in Denmark, Portugal, Germany, and Austria.
Adriana de la Peña Espinosa has been invited to present at an open seminar at Instituto de Investigaciones Gino Germani in Buenos Aires entitled “Entre la promesa y la realidad: Una mirada crítica a la Inteligencia Artificial Urbana en América Latina” (Between promise and reality: a critical look at urban artificial intelligence in Latin America) as part of the NOMADIC Project (HORIZON-MSCA Staff Exchanges 2023).
We look forward to hearing about their travels!
