Welcome to the symposium- Applying social innovation and theory of change for societal transformation
Through the Institute for Urban Research (IUR) seed grant, researchers at IUR, Malmö University, Aalborg University, Cardiff University and Green Habitat (NGO from Nigeria) are collaborating with VA SYD (the water and waste company of Malmö) on how to reduce water consumption by residents of Malmö City through social innovation.
We invite you to a one-day symposium on Monday, the 25th of September 2023 (08.15 am to 13.00 pm), to use the concept of theory of change, in starting the process of how this reduction is expected to happen through social innovation. The objective of the symposium is to expose and share knowledge with researchers and practitioners, on the use of theory of change in social innovation, in promoting a societal change.
Whether your research interest is in urban studies, governance, culture, or society, we welcome your experiences and knowledge of how you have experimented with or visualized the use of theory of change in your research field. The set-up of symposium promotes multiple actors collaboration in a bid to promote interdisciplinary research with a positive impact on society.
