IUR Researchers awarded funding to rediscover the connections between public health, epidemics and urban planning

Congratulations to the IUR-affiliated Researchers Guy Baeten (project leader), Defne Kadioğlu, Myrto Dagkouli-Kyriakoglou, Chiara Valli, Lorena Melgaço Silva Marques, Claudia Fonseca Alfaro, and Slobodan Zdravkovic (Associate professor in Public Health and Epidemiology at the Faculty of Health and Society), who have been successful in securing funding from Malmö University’s special call for research related to COVID-19.

The researchers will carry out a pilot project titled Public health, epidemics and urban planning: reinstating the connection.
