During week 47, members of the collective Enmedio are guests at Malmö University, supported by IUR, and in collaboration/within the design course Architecture for Diversity, Participation, and Social Community.
Enmedio is a Barcelona-based collective of visual artists who left behind the conventional terrain of art to situate themselves within processes of social transformation. Through collective creation and striking interventions in public spaces, they explore the power of images and narratives to change things. Their photographic workshop, TAF (Taller de Acción Fotográfica), is designed for — and ready for — action, focusing its investigations on the spaces where art and social activism meet. In their presentation at the Malmö School of Architecture, they will share some of their experiences and reflect on how art, understood as a collective practice, can become a living tool for transforming reality.
