Structuring and Strategizing Research on Green and Just Cities

The purpose of this workshop is to work together with colleagues to structure priorities and strategize a collaborative approach to research within the Green and Just Cities theme in the IUR. The workshop will begin with a short presentation describing existing and emerging Green and Just Cities work within IUR as well as outlining key research priorities within Malmö Stad that can act as a base for further developing ideas within the Green and Just Cities theme. We will have small group discussions to identify research interests among MAU colleagues, and work together to start developing some research themes that both represent this diversity of interests and approaches within Green and Just Cities, as well as providing some structure to the content within the theme (as a way of developing a unique profile within this area). From this, we will also start the discussion around strategies for promoting collaboration and seeking joint research funding. All who feel interested in this topic are welcome to join and contribute to the ongoing growth and development of this new IUR theme!
