We are delighted to welcome Alexander Kalyukin as a postdoctoral researcher at the IUR.
Alexander is a human geographer interested in early modernist housing and urban planning. He defended his Ph.D. thesis at Uppsala University, Sweden, in 2021. His current research explores the social meaning and function of housing, the development and circulation of planning ideas and visions, and the everyday lived experience of the built environment.
