The Urban Knowledge Collective offers series on urban career paths.
The IUR is collaborating with the Urban Knowledge Collective, an international network of urban actors based in Vienna and founded by urban research students. The Urban Knowledge Collective offers a space where aspiring urbanists- students and alumni – and urban actors- activists, initiatives, and practitioners- collectivize knowledge about urban topics. The network offers an open and experimental process, where insights, experiences, and practices that promote social justice are shared.
If you are a student or alumni interested in following a career related to the urban, don’t miss their webinar series Urban Work: Career paths out of academia and into the city. It’s an exciting opportunity to explore where your career path might take you next. Urban experts and workers worldwide and from different fields will share their experiences in an informal discussion. They will discuss their paths and offer a critical but concrete reflection on urban work opportunities and labor markets in different cities.
Check out the Urban Knowledge Collective website and register for the second edition of the series that starts at 19:00 (CET) on February 17th.
