I graduated with an MSc in Urban Studies from Malmö University in 2024 and began working as a research assistant at IUR in 2025. Within IUR, I contribute to a range of initiatives across the theme areas and coordinate center-wide communications. My own research interests relate primarily to the field of urban humanities, and I have worked with researching Malmö’s underground music scenes in relation to the city’s transformation over time, and the tensions between do-it-yourself (sub)cultural expressions, municipal processes, and public opinion. The methods and presentation forms that I have used in this work include oral histories interviews, archival research, fanzine making, exhibition creation, and workshops. I co-created the Svartklubb exhibition at Malmö City Archives in 2024, in collaboration with a student colleague and the Institute for Studies in Malmö’s History.
