IUR postdoctoral researcher Defne Kadıoğlu Polat has published a new article where she engages in how dissent is managed and consent maintained, in the context of a state-affine neighborhood in Istanbul.
The article titled “‘No one is larger than the state.’ Consent, dissent, and vigilant violence during Turkey’s neoliberal urban transition” is published in Southeast European and Black Sea Studies.
