We welcome Matthieu Vogt to the Institute for Urban Research (IUR) as an research intern financed by Erasmus+ during the autumn 2024. He is joining the research project on Municipal governance and changing local rental markets together with Jennie Gustafsson.
Matthieu holds a master’s degree in Geography from Paris 1 Panthéon – Sorbonne, during which he became interested in the financialization of real estate and the private rental sector. He has also worked as a research assistant at the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and at the ENS – Paris (Ecole Normale Supérieure). He is now joining Jennie Gustafsson’s research project on institutional investments in residential real estate, doing a comparison between the French and the Swedish rental markets.
