Lecture with Gernot Wieland
Speaking of Places, a public guest lecture with the Institute’s first artist-in-residence Gernot Wieland, took place last week. In a talk that explored his style of “lecture performances,” Gernot asked us to reflect on the importance of images in regards to text, alongside the relationship between autobiographical accounts and fiction.
The event was organized in collaboration with K3 – The School of Arts and Communication.
This event was part of our Visiting Scholars and Artists-in-Residence fall 2019 activities. Please check out the rest of the program here.
