IUR visits Istanbul
The IUR had its kick-off meeting at the Swedish Research Institute in Istanbul (SRII). The full-packed agenda in this vibrant megacity included exploring the districts of Galata, Üsküdar and Kadiköy where we had the chance to learn about the city’s rich history and catch glimpses of not only its urban fabric but also its recent urban struggles. In addition to this, we got to explore the city’s transport system.
