Bostadsvrålet 2026 Connects Housing Struggles to Urban Justice

IUR, in collaboration with Allt åt alla Malmö and ABF Malmö Sydväst, is organizing the Bostadsvrålet 2026 (The Housing Roar) in Malmö on September 19-20 at Rosengårds Folkets Hus.

This year’s Bostadsvrålet will explore the connections between tenant struggles and broader issues of urban and spatial justice. Through discussions, workshops, and meetings, participants will examine how housing functions as a social and material infrastructure that shapes neighbourhoods, cities, and our collective future.

The programme brings together activists, researchers, and community organizers to discuss issues ranging from international tenant movements and local tenant organizing to collective ownership models, community organizing, the right to healthcare, and school segregation.

The event programme will be updated continuously – check it out here!
