I am as social anthropologist by training and with research interests that revolve around notions of urban commons, governance and space. This overarching concern has been explored in different studies to address topics such as how urban regeneration is legitimized, the viability of participation in the development of public space and relations to inclusion, implications of temporary use, how urban examples are used in policy mobility, and most recently in understanding legitimacy in climate adaptation. I will primarily be engaged in IUR’s theme on Green and Just Cities.
