Nicholas B. Torretta is a Brazilian design researcher (PhD), educator and artist based in Malmö, Sweden. Coming from resistance practices such as Capoeira, Graffiti and improvisational music, Nicholas works on the intersections of design, decolonisation and sustainability with focus on nurturing pluriverses of ways of being with the planet. Nicholas is one of the founders of the Pluriversal SIG at DRS and is currently a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at Malmö University.
