Martin Grander is an associate professor (Docent) in Urban studies at Malmö University. Martin’s research is mainly related to housing issues, and he is especially interested in thetheoretical and empirical nexus between housing provision and the wider welfare state. Special fields of concern are housing affordability, housing availability, segregation, and comparative housing research.
Martin Grander is the research coordinator of the Housing and Welfare theme within the IUR and the director of the Housing and Welfare Research Network. The network gathers around 200 members from academia, public authorities, private companies, and NGOs who are interested in contemporary housing issues.
