Erica Righard is a professor of social work. She is employed at the Department of Social Work and affiliated with Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration (MIM) and the Institute for Urban Research (IUR) at Malmö University. In 2024–2028 she is director of the Swedish Research School for Social Work (SRSW). Her research is multidisciplinary and mainly concerns the intersection of international migration and social work/policy/protection in a broad sense and at varying societal levels.
