Meet visiting researcher Sarah Klosterkamp!
Sarah is an urban and feminist legal geographer who is currently affiliated as postdoctoral researcher at the Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. Her work investigates how the law proceeds and multiplies classed and racialized geographies of inequalities within and through state-driven institutions such as asylum facilities, employment offices, and carceral spaces. She is holder of the 2023 Geoverbund ABC/J Research Award for Early Career Researcher. In her current project, funded by the German Research Foundations, she aims to spotlight eviction processes and the housing crisis in Germany. Sarah will be in Sweden for two weeks in May/June, dividing her time between IUR and Lund University.
