Smart Cities for City Officials is live!
We are happy to announce that the course SMART CITIES FOR CITY OFFICIALS – A SOCIAL SCIENCES PERSPECTIVE is now open!
The course, organised by IUR members Guy Baeten, Chiara Valli, and Adriana de la Pena, is the first online, open-access educational program on smart cities from a social sciences perspective. Featuring interviews with world-leading researchers, we offer an overview of the current debates on smart cities taking place in the social sciences.
The course is online and free. It is designed mainly for city officials and practitioners in Nordic European countries, but it can be of interest also for researchers, students, and citizens who want to know more about Smart Cities and their social implications.
