I am a Double Degree PhD Fellow at Roskilde University (Denmark) and Malmö University (Sweden), and a leader of the Democratic Energy Transitions project. My research focuses on the integration of clean energy technologies in energy systems at local and urban scale, with a particular interest in how models of public, cooperative, and community ownership can accelerate just and sustainable energy transitions. I explore issues related to democratic participation, social innovation, and long-term sustainability. Geographically, my work spans the Nordic countries, Southeast Europe, and Latin America.
